Does it work on hair, fur and glass?

Yes. Loose hair, pet fur and see-through edges are kept as soft edges instead of hard outlines. Very fine strands against a background of the same color can still be lost; a photo with more contrast behind the hair helps.

It kept something I did not want. What can I do?

The model keeps every object in the foreground, such as a towel next to a mug. There is no brush to remove it afterwards yet, so crop the photo to the subject before you upload, then run it again.

Does it work on a logo printed on a bag, or food on a plate?

Usually, but check the edges. A flat subject that lies on or is printed on a surface is the hardest case, because the model can keep part of the surface or drop part of the subject. In our October 2026 tests on six such photos (logos on paper bags, a coaster, burgers and a plate of food), five came out clean and one kept a faint patch of the tray next to the fries. Objects that stand up from the background, such as a mug, a bottle or a pin badge, are easier.

What image sizes and formats can I upload?

JPG, PNG, WEBP and HEIC up to 20 MB. Results keep your upload size, up to 3072 px on the long edge.

Can I add a new background instead of a color?

Yes. Use Change Photo Background to put the subject in a scene you describe, such as a studio or a city rooftop. That uses an image model and costs 4 credits.

Do you keep my photos?

Uploads and results on free accounts are deleted after 30 days, and you can delete any photo yourself from My edits. We do not use your photos to train models.
