1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. We also keep a few settings in your browser's local storage. This page covers both.

Local storage keeps your light or dark theme and a random device ID that counts free runs for visitors who aren't signed in.
3. Your choice
In the EU, the UK and Switzerland we ask before loading analytics. Google Analytics doesn't load until you choose Accept all or turn Analytics on in Settings. Elsewhere analytics is on by default, and you can turn it off the same way.
To change your choice, click Cookies at the bottom of any page.
4. Advertising
We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies today, and we don't sell data. If we add ad conversion tags, they will only run when you allow Marketing in cookie settings.
5. Blocking cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block necessary cookies you won't be able to sign in.
